Born in Armenia and growing up in Los Angeles, California, he developed a love for the understanding of human nature and human behavior. It is his love for people that has caused him to delve into the lives of others, both in forming relationships and through the visual medium. In his studies in human behavior at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), he developed a desire to better understand and capture the essence of personhood, life and creation in all its glory. Coupled by his love for photography, he attempts to engage in the poetic expression of life and creation through the lense of Fine Art Photography.
Benjamin's photographic and visual expressionism seeks to capture the majestic design of a world that is more and more believed to be in chaos. His style can be summarized from the poetic truths of Robert Frost in “The Road Not Taken”, namely that his visual work seeks to shed off the distractions of life in order to bring clarity to the experiences that shape our lives.
