My subject matter includes architectural, waterscapes, landscapes, macro and abstracts both nature and other interesting objects. My wildlife subjects includes songbirds, raptors, reptiles and mammals. I have received special recognition in the form of competition winners and/or published images including Canadian Geographic, Canadian Wildlife, Photolife, Sigma Canada, Outdoor Photography Canada, Our Canada and PhotoNews. I love to spend my days in nature capturing everything from landscapes to animals to a simple flower or a minute insect. Photography for me, is both relaxing and exhilarating and every capture is pure joy. I am fortunate to have many trails in my area, two rivers, the Speed and Eramosa Rivers, a lake (Guelph Lake) and many streams, creeks and wetlands where I can hike alone and spend hours capturing life's most serene and peaceful moments. I also vacation in the summer and fall in northern Ontario where the rugged landscape, rock formations and beautiful lakes and rivers are just outstanding.
